classic downtown stay
great locationhelpful staffsoundproofing
the location was great for exploring lower manhattan.. it was very easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. i found the hotel staff quite helpful with directions and recommendations. tyra at concierge made check-in effortless and checkout was also very smooth.
the hallway outside the room was noisy at times.. i could hear conversations and other guests passing by. the soundproofing could be improved for a better night's sleep. this was noticeable especially late in the evening.

the location was acceptable for exploring (close to several subway lines).
The noise level was disappointing on a saturday night. i could clearly hear music from the bar below until late. I was on the fifth floor and expected better soundproofing. the room service was also slow, and the food arrived lukewarm, which wasn't great for the price i paid.

the location was amazing with many great bars in walking distance. the bar area was lovely. the bartender and staff were wonderful. the bed was comfortable and the facilities were good.
cleaning was limited so a dirty glass stayed in my room. room service remained outside rooms for days. the air conditioning sounded like the subway. no bottled water was in the room.

I thought the location was superb. Everything i needed was within easy walking distance. the room was super clean, i noticed meticulous attention to detail in every corner. the gallery with the photographer dustin pittman was a cool place for quiet reflection. i especially liked the umbrella provided, a very thoughtful touch on a stormy day!
The air conditioning sounded a little like a subway. It made sleeping slightly difficult.

The location is convenient and easily accessible! i walked to tribeca, chinatown, and lower east side very easily. the soho diner connected to the hotel was fab. It was so convenient for breakfast and lunch.

the location was convenient for exploring lower manhattan. the staff was attentive. i appreciated the speedy resolution of billing issues post-stay. Tyra at concierge showed great warmth and professionalism.
i found that the room needed blackout curtains. the roman-type shade was inadequate for blocking light at night. this impacted sleep quality.
